Hyundai USA to Pioneer Car Sales on Amazon in 2024

In an unprecedented move, Hyundai USA is poised to become the first global carmaker to sell its vehicles directly on Amazon, beginning in 2024. This signifies a significant collaboration between Hyundai and the e-commerce giant, as Amazon prepares to unveil a dedicated platform for online car sales in the United States.

Customers will enjoy the unique opportunity to purchase any Hyundai car and variant through Amazon, reflecting the straightforward process of buying other products on the platform. The vehicles will be dispatched from dealers’ stockyards, offering a seamless online car-buying experience akin to Hyundai’s existing website model.

As part of the partnership, Hyundai cars sold on Amazon will come equipped with Amazon’s voice-activated AI assistant, Alexa. This strategic alliance enables Hyundai to leverage Amazon’s extensive customer base.

While the initial launch is slated for the U.S., the prospect of expanding this service to other regions remains an intriguing development to watch. Amazon hints at more carmakers joining the platform, promising an evolution in the way automobiles are purchased online.
